Prudhoe NE42 6NR, UK
Prudhoe, North East England NE42 6NR

A delightful country station nestled in the heart of the Tyne Valley with antique cast iron footbridge, level crossing and genuine working signal box (a real rarity nowadays) at the western end of the platforms. Although fairly sheltered anyway there are waiting shelters on both platforms, each served by their own ticket machine which should be standard practice at unstaffed stations but isn't unfortunately. Free car park just to south of westbound platform.

An attractive traditional railway station with a historic footbridge and semaphore signals. Steam trains including those hauled by 60103 Flying Scotsman pass through from time to time.

Wifi, cleaned shelters, accurate information, perfect!
