A charming place which will absolutely delight anyone with an appreciation of dainty, pretty things. Every room is done out in meticulously, and it's well worth going just to admire the attention to every detail, which looks to have been a labour of love.I went with a friend for coffee and cake, and I wish I could say better things about the latte I ordered, which seemed to be purely a coffee and hot milk combination. None of the carefully frothed milk or latte art that one has come to expect from a shop that advertises its use of a trendy local coffee roasters at the door.The coffee and walnut cake I ordered with it, was also a little disappointing - it did look wonderful on the stand, but lacked flavour on the whole and the cake was a bit dry. My friend, however, seemed content with her tea and the slice she'd ordered.We did enjoy our time there including ten minutes of exploring all the rooms and marvelling at the collections of beautiful items. (They are also well equipped to entertain children with a great toy kitchen.)I would definitely return with my daughter, and another friend who loves that sort of thing, as it is a really special place. Probably wouldn't try the coffee again though.
