Although the real ale choice was limited, I had really nice bangers and mash at a pretty reasonable price and the barman was excellent. Nothing was too much bother!
First time since it was taken over by new management I had a meal and two pints of real ales it was fine where the bar lad was sociable

Fabulous food, brilliant deal on 2 main courses and a bottle of wine for20! The wild boar hot dogs and the haddock and mozzarella fishcakes were scrumptious! Very friendly staff and really clean toilets which is a measure of a good pub!
Real Ale, good pub grub, great staff & dog friendly, what more could one want from their local? A decent band thrown in every now & then, yup, youve got it spot on! Well done.
